Martinis, Shaken and Stirred

Ingredients
  

Chocolate Martini
  • 1 1/2 fluid ounces chocolate liqueur
  • 1 1/2 fluid ounces creme de cacao
  • 1/2 fluid ounce vodka
  • 2 1/2 fluid ounces half-and-half
  • 1 cup ice

Method
 

Chocolate Martini
  1. Combine vodka, chocolate liqueur, creme de cacao, and ice into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Shake until very cold (1 minute)
  3. Add cold half and half and shake lightly again.
  4. Strain the drink into a chilled martini glass. Drizzle chocolate syrup on the rim of the glass and stir
  5. Garnish with dark chocolate, or coat the rim of the glass with shaved dark chocolate.

Notes

Casino Royale (1967) -
I don't even know where to start, and it seems neither did the director of this James Bond pretender. !967 was not good to James Bond, but we can enjoy the silliness of Casino Royale by loading up on vodka. This is not a real martini, but this wasn't a real (good) Bond movie either.
