Double Cream, Dream Cake - Body Double

Your neighbors might peek in for this one.

This neo-noir erotic thriller written by Brian De Palma is a cult classic.

I didn’t enjoy it as much as some of the others on the Cinema du Fromage podcast, but we got one hell of a delicious recipe out it!

Baked with decadence, and attention paid to full flavor and full fat ingredients, it feels double good  – if you’re into that thing.

Notes

Inspired by Body Double, this dreamy cake is layered with double cream and easy on the eyes. Like most desserts, however, and much like the movie, tastes good but is filled with empty calories.
