Method
- Slice the dates open and gently scoop out (use a fork to scrape gently) the date fruit
- Add the bits of date fruit to the goat cheese and mash gently
- Add the mixture to a ziploc bag and cut off a corner
- Pipe the mixture into the dates
- Garnish with toasted pine nuts
Notes
These treats are best made ahead of time and then left covered to come to room temperature so that the dates and cheese are soft.
