- Add the chocolate pudding and milk together
- Add vanilla extract
- Mix for 3 minutes
- Divide and pour the mixture into 4 cups. Fill about halfway. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour
- Sprinkle a thick layer of the cookie "dust" to the top of the chilled pudding cups.
For Coffee Flavored Pudding
- Add the vanilla pudding and milk together
- Add Coffee Extract, or add the strongly brewed coffee to the mixture
- Mix for 3 minutes
- Divide and pour the mixture into 4 cups. Fill about halfway. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour
- Sprinkle a thick layer of the cookie "dust" to the top of the chilled pudding cups.
For Fireplace Dust
- Untwist the Oreo cookies and scrape off the white filling. Set aside the filling and save for another use.
- Crush the cookies by either adding them to a Ziploc bag and gently hitting them with the rolling pin OR add the cookies to a blender and tap blend until the cookies are crumbled.
Notes
You can crumble some larger pieces of cookies just before serving to add a little more texture to your cookie dust.
Don't add the cookie dust until you are ready to serve. The cookie layer can get mushy if it's allowed to sit on top of the pudding for too long.
