Ingredients
Method
- Cover cherries or raspberry pieces with goat cheese and roll into a ball. DO NOT MAKE THE BALLS TOO BIG
- Cool in refrigerator
Chocolate "wax" Coating
- Melt butter in a saucepan on low heat
- Add sugar, salt, and sour cream slowly and stir continually on medium heat
- Continue to stir until the mixture comes to a boil then remove from heat
- Add chocolate chips and continue to stir. (You can return the mixture to a low heat if needed to melt all the chips
- Divide mixture into 4 parts and add food coloring to 3 (leave one white to resemble real wax)
- Using a slotted spoon dip and coat each of the goat cheese balls in the chocolate mixture. They won't look smooth.
- Cool and serve
Notes
Don't worry about the actual shapes, but if you want to mold them, use a silicon mold that isn't too deep. They do take a while to cure and harden.
