We also made these in a slow cooker which added a deep flavor to the meat that is sometimes lost in other cooking methods. What exactly is a blob if not giant rolling Jello? Genetically enhanced and space grown, this ravenously hungry and strangely sentient thing was so cool to watch devouring everything in sight. We made gelatin with bones and eyeballs, so we could get our just desserts. We don't think it can eat us from the inside out!

Candyman is a guilty pleasure of violence and decadent storytelling. The deep layering of urban legend and myth are wound so deeply together, it's easy to see why this movie has a cult following. We created a cranberry orange bundt cake in a beehive mold. It doesn't need frosting, but we dripped honey over our delicious slices. Have a piece or five.

House of Wax (2005, panned on Rotten Tomatoes, but one of our favorites!) was all about layers. We layered cherries & raspberries inside goat cheese and covered them with dark chocolate. The fun of this dessert is in the gross idea that you are eating one of Vincent's creations, without the guilt.
