Goulash for Ghoulies

Summon something more useful ( and tasty!)  than creatures in your toilet.

What exactly did Jonathon summon and what language was that? Well, we are pretty sure it wasn’t a recipe for ghoulish. But, hey if the Ghoulies could summon a dinner, maybe this would be their choice?

We’ve added a lot of smoked paprika and red pepper flakes to this dish to really give it a nice flavor profile. Use more or less spices for your taste. We won’t judge, but the Ghoulies might. They seem like that kind of Imp.

Goulash for Ghoulies

I know this isn’t a new recipe and there are many Ghoulie goulash recipes, but I love this dish and Ghoulies is such a fun movie … it just seemed to work. Most of the recipes I see for American goulash are bland and for kids so kicked it up a bit!

Notes

Spice levels on this dish can be throttled with more or less red pepper flakes and more or less paprika.

For kids, just use meat, pasta sauce, and maybe the yellow pepper.  We used to make both by just pulling a little pasta and beef out and serving it with pasta sauce, without spices.

Once this recipe is done, throw it in the slow cooker on warm, to keep the dish ready for hours.
